The Seychelles National Institute for Culture, Heritage and the Arts (SNICHA) invites Seychellois musicians and composers to create the official theme song for the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup.
The global event, scheduled for May 2025 marks the first time an African nation will host the prestigious tournament and Seychelles aims to make a lasting impression with a unique and captivating theme song by Seychelles Musicians that will showcase the country’s spirit and beauty.
Secretary General of SNICHA, David Andre emphasises the collaborative nature of this project, encouraging musicians to come together to produce an exceptional anthem that will resonate with fans worldwide.
“We want to create a song that will be remembered as one of the best in FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup history. The song’s theme should celebrate Seychelles and promote the country’s unique culture and beauty. This presents an opportunity for artists to showcase their creativity and patriotism, producing a song that makes the nation proud.”
David Andre; Secretary General of SNICHA
The theme song will be an integral part of the tournament, featured in promotional materials and played throughout the competition. While this is not a competitive call, all participating artists will receive payment and recognition for their contributions. FIFA will hold the distribution rights to the song. He further explained.
Seychelles has a rich history of hosting international beach soccer tournaments, including the Beach Soccer African Nations Championship in 2015, and the country’s achievement in hosting the 2025 FIFA Beach Soccer World Cup is a testament to its growth and dedication to the sport.
As Seychelles prepares to welcome the world to its shores in May 2025, creating an iconic theme song will be essential to the event’s success, and the collaboration between local musicians and composers is a chance to produce something truly special, leaving a lasting legacy for the country and the world of beach soccer.
