In a historic moment for the Estonia Beach Soccer Association, a state-of-the-art indoor beach soccer facility was unveiled on October 6th, 2023.
A significant leap forward for the sport in the Baltic region, located at the Jõulumäe Tervisespordikeskus. The facility has been built to meet FIFA’s gold standards and is poised to transform beach soccer in Estonia, offering year-round opportunities.
The driving force behind this visionary project is the team at Jõulumäe Tervisespordikeskus, spearheaded by Enn and Eido Tasalain. With unwavering dedication, they’ve brought to life a facility that meets the exacting requirements of FIFA’s top standards. Joining them in this ambitious endeavour were FIFA beach soccer referee Ago Kärtmann and Kari-Andri Kask, both instrumental in making the dream a reality.
A key figure in this milestone is none other than world beach soccer legend, Madjer, whose support has been an anchor for this initiative. Witnessing Madjer and national team captain Kristian Marmor taking time to mentor the emerging talents of Pärnu Kalev and Pärnu Vaprus was truly inspirational.
As the Estonian youth are encouraged to dream big in this remarkable facility, they’re reminded that the sand beneath their feet could well lead to stars in their eyes.
As the new indoor beach facility gears up to host a series of thrilling events, the future of beach soccer in Estonia is brighter than ever, set to make waves in the Baltic region and beyond.
