Experience the thrill of beach soccer like never before at the Discover Puerto Rico Invitational Beach Soccer Championship! Hosted at the picturesque La Concha Renaissance Resort in San Juan, this inaugural event promises an unforgettable blend of competitive sportsmanship and tropical adventure.
The championship organised by proambeachsoccer, in partnership with Federación Puertorriqueña de Fútbol invites teams from across the globe to bask in the sun, sand, and soccer on the vibrant shores of Puerto Rico. Taking place from 2nd to 7th September 2024, with team arrivals starting on August 30th and departures on September 8th. The tournament boasts an open competition format adhering to FIFA Laws of the Game.
Registration is now open, with a fee of $1,000 USD for Adult Men’s teams and $600 USD for Adult Coed teams, a $200 deposit is required upon registration, with a minimum of 6 players and a maximum of 14 players per team, four matches per team is guaranteed.
Beyond the exhilarating matches, participants will have the opportunity to explore the rich offerings of Puerto Rico. From eco-tours to zip-lining adventures, scuba diving, snorkeling, and exploring the colourful colonial streets, there’s something for everyone to enjoy amidst the warm Caribbean waters and participants will undoubtedly create memories to last a lifetime.
The championship is embracing a paperless approach, as the organisers have leveraged Event Wizard and TCLC as official timekeeping tools, with live scoring available on an Augmented Reality Scoreboard. Spectators and participants alike can download the free event app to access schedules, scores, standings, and even participate in an Augmented Reality Scavenger Hunt!
